Introduction to Mantras

Man is entirely a different form of creature than animals. It has got excellent intelligence and memory but has no supernatural power. God has been kind enough to impart him some of his super natural powers. While doing so, technique of receiving has been made so complicated and intrinsic that ordinary fellow cannot adopt these techniques. This requires spiritual search and practice on constant and continuous basis.

Desire has no limit , we take shortcuts to their accomplishment. Meditation, mantras and yajna can help in achieving the same . If you look at the real purpose of meditation, there is no room for worldly desire. But basic purpose and performance of meditation is the desire for MOKSHA. But modern man meditated only to attain wealth and worldly comforts. There should be no doubt that real path of meditation takes us to wealth and comfort initially and MOKSHA(salvation) being the final stage. But we stop in our spiritual practice after some of our desire of  immediate nature are fulfilled.

It is true in modern world that empty stomach may not permit the mind to salvation stage. Wealth, health and wisdom is also needed for the mind to be ready for meditation. Man who initially have not much to eat is given sumptuous food, fills his belly with maximum quantity of food at initial stages from where he had started initially. This may be secret of God that this subjects seeking MOKSHA should be given taste of wealth and comforts initially, even when a person does not want at any later stage. When man meditates with sincerity and observes correct techniques as imparted by our ancients his surroundings become favorable ,wealth, health, wisdom or whatever sadhak desired flows in, than the real stage of salvation begins.

While meditation is the art of concentration of mind, MANTRA is the art of sound vibrations.

Recitation of Mantra affects every aspect of our life. It assists in circumventing difficulties in man's path and emerges a winner in all aspects of life, career, family, education and finally puts man on the path of MOKSHA.

MANTRA is a science/art , a definite way be stimulating the right energies as when we utter these sounds(words), our entire body vibrates and benefits from the universe are attracted towards the Sadhka. Yagna or Havan is a scientific procedure created by ancient Rishis. These are two types of benefits Yajnas, Sakan(which helps in fulfillment of worldly desires) and Nishkam(which helps the man on the path of MOKSHA). Lord Krishna explains in Geeta,"Swarga Kam Yajet" if you desire ultimate bliss /MOKSHA than perform Yajna.
